A Christmas version in the the series Nunsense

The hilarious antics of the Little Sisters of Hoboken with Father Leo are back as they televise their first Christmas show from the church basement.  Of course things don’t go smoothly at all.  Some songs are rip roaring funny while others are quite touching.  Although there is no foul language, there is adult humor scattered throughout the play.

Cast members include Barbara Ashely as Mother Superior, Barbara Jeffery as Sr. Mary Hubert (second in command), Jacki Scott as Sr. Robert Anne a no nonsense nun from Brooklyn, Sue Herzog as Sr. Mary Paul (also known as Sr. Amnesia!) and Chris Colpitts as Father Virgil.  The cast is completed with three “students’ Alex MacKinnon, Cassandra Gould and Vivian Gould.  All three have been in previous productions of the Upstage Players.
